SOBRE/ABOUT

Road to Guadalupe is a videoblog exploring how Our Lady of Guadalupe (AKA La Virgen) impacts the lives of Mexicanas and Chicanas in both the U.S. and México. In the Spring of 2008, the creator, Ashley Pinedo, travelled through various parts of the U.S. Southwest and of México, interviewing Mexicana and Chicana women about the varied role the Virgen plays in their lives.  Each week, a short video featuring these interviews was posted on this site.  The journey culminated at the hill of Tepeyac in México, the site of La Virgen's apparition to Juan Diego in 1531.
